In each of my classes we work on many exciting lessons, activities and projects throughout the year. Whether we are working on Math, English/Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Work-Based Instruction, or Career & Technical Instruction, we work together so the learning is fun and more memorable for everyone. The classes I'll be teaching this year will be much more cross-curricular and based more on daily living in the real world. I'll often be team teaching with Darya Schmidt and Dianne Hicks, as well as several of our fabulous paraprofessionals throughout this year as we work to integrate our students into this great Pickens High School atmosphere. Learning will still be individualized to a great extent to what each of our students need, as they move from class to class and get the "true" experience of being a high school student. Please feel free to contact me at PHS if you have any questions.
